What makes Scandals Saloon special

Scandals is the only country-western gay bar in the Fort Lauderdale area. People dance line dance and two-step, and there are regular lessons, including for same-sex couples, with no experience needed. There are also pool tables, a patio and cheap drinks. Guests praise the service and atmosphere but criticise cigar smoke outside.

Programme

During the week there are dance lessons for beginners, and at the weekend free dancing until late. Annual highlights are a country fair and a gay rodeo weekend.
