What makes The Eagle special

The Eagle in Wilton Manors is an industrial-style leather, fetish and bear bar with a powerful sound and lighting system. On Fridays and Saturdays two DJ rooms run at the same time, with DJs from the US and abroad.

There is also the Bear Cave, a more relaxed, rustic area for the bear scene, and the CODE Bar: a dark room where phones are off limits. A dress code applies in some areas on certain nights; details are on the website. Once a year the Leather Masked Ball takes place.

Atmosphere and crowd

Mostly men, most between their mid-30s and 60, in leather, gear or simply jeans and a T-shirt. The mood is open and cruisy, and newcomers are welcome. Local readers have repeatedly voted the Eagle best bear and leather bar.
