What makes The Coven special
The Coven is in the Scheunenviertel right by Hackescher Markt. To the right of the entrance is the bar with cage lamps and candles, chandeliers hang from the ceiling and the walls are black. At the back a stag statue keeps watch. The ambience is both elegant and cosy.
The crowd is upscale and very international, many guests wear shirts and take care over their appearance. It is easy to get chatting at the bar, but overall it is a little more reserved than in the pubs of Schöneberg.
During the week people sit quietly over cocktails, while at weekends and at the regular DJ nights there is dancing, with DJs often playing until 2:30 am. Payment is by card only.
