What makes The Monster special
The Monster combines two bars in one building: upstairs people sing at the piano, downstairs in the Bassment they dance to DJs. Spanish murals from 1929 are preserved in the building. The Sunday tea dance has been running for more than 35 years, and in 2023 the bar received an award from Village Preservation.
