What makes the guesthouse special

GayOut lists Villa Toscana as gay-popular and LGBTQ+-friendly. The location is what counts: the bars, cafés and the LGBTQ+ Center on Halsted are literally on the doorstep, as are the rainbow pylons of Halsted Street. If you want to experience Chicago’s queer nightlife on foot, this is the ideal place to stay.

Rooms and amenities

The rooms are furnished with antiques and each follows a theme; breakfast is a self-service buffet. White-noise machines are provided in street-facing rooms. The location, beds and communication before arrival get praise; worn furnishings, a breakfast that is sometimes not restocked and street noise are criticised.
