What makes Hunters special

Arenas Road is the gay strip of Palm Springs, a desert city with one of the largest queer communities in the USA. Hunters opened in 1998 and has been its fixture ever since. During the day a long happy hour runs until 7 pm with go-go dancers, and in the evening the video and dance bar becomes a meeting point for locals and weekend visitors.

On Tuesdays it’s karaoke on the main stage, on Wednesdays drag bingo with Rusty Waters and Alexa Steals, plus Top 40 nights and cabaret. The patio is great for sitting outside. It’s busiest on Fridays and Saturdays after 10 pm and in the winter season.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is mixed: gay men of all ages, tourists and groups of girlfriends. Guests praise the go-gos, music and atmosphere.
