What makes Apollo Sauna special
Apollo Sauna is not a wellness complex but a classic neighbourhood sauna with regulars: on the ground floor are the bar and changing rooms, below them a steam sauna, a dry sauna with regular infusions, a plunge pool, cabins, a darkroom and slings. Once a month MSC Hamburg holds Fetish Nights here, plus theme nights such as Halloween or the winegrowers’ day. If you pay full price on a Thursday, you get in free the following Thursday.
With 4.6 stars on Google, Apollo is one of the best-rated saunas in the city. Above all, guests praise the warm, attentive staff, the cleanliness and the nostalgic flair; according to reviews, a number of things have improved under new owners, such as the lighting.
