What makes La Pose stand out
La Pose is on Mazowiecka in the centre, just a few minutes from the Royal Route. It was founded explicitly as a safe space for queer people, run by queer people. By day it’s a restaurant with street food, its own burgers and pizza, all freshly made. There are also signature cocktails such as the Ballroom or the Utopia.
In the evening the venue turns into a bar and club across three floors, with a stage and dance floor. From Tuesday, drag, ballroom, burlesque, karaoke and dance parties take turns, and the mood depends a lot on the event.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is young, queer mixed and very international at weekends. Reviews praise the bartenders, the atmosphere and the shows, and the food gets good marks too.
A good fit if you …
- want a show and a party in one night
- like drag and ballroom
- are between 20 and 35 and want a mixed party
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for a men-only bar
- expect a show night on a Monday
