Warsaw has the largest and liveliest queer scene in Poland. Around Mazowiecka, Żurawia and Wilcza, clubs, bars and drag stages are within walking distance of each other.
Śródmieście
The nightlife district is right in the city centre: at Glam Club a young crowd parties to pop and drag, while La Pose presents ballroom, burlesque and karaoke over three floors. Bearded guests meet at Lodi Dodi, and the cruisier club night is at Metropolis. The former Galeria beneath the Mirowski Hall now operates as Crush Club, and Ramona Bar is good for pre-drinks. Friday and Saturday after midnight are the busiest.
When to go?
- June – Parada Równości: the largest Pride in Central and Eastern Europe drew tens of thousands through Warsaw on 13 June 2026. For 2027, check the date with the organisers.
- Every weekend – drag & ballroom: La Pose and Glam Club regularly offer drag shows, ballroom and bingo nights (check the date with the organisers).
Our favourites
- La Pose – show, party and restaurant under one roof
- Lodi Dodi – relaxed, bearded, with a basement surprise

Practical tips
- Warsaw is considerably more open than rural Poland, but the rule still applies: outside the scene venues and especially at night, it is best to stay discreet.
- Poland has (as of 2026) neither marriage nor registered partnership for same-sex couples, and there is no specific protection against hate crimes based on sexual orientation.
- Most bars and clubs are within walking distance of each other – perfect for a tour of several venues in one evening.
