What makes Lodi Dodi stand out
Lodi Dodi describes itself as a colourful gay cocktail bar in the heart of Warsaw. On the ground floor there are creative drinks and neon light; the upper floor is quiet and good for conversation. The basement gets livelier and much more explicit: videos play there, and there’s a darkroom.
The bar is small and inconspicuous on Wilcza, in the middle of Śródmieście, just a few hundred metres from the LGBTQ organisation Lambda Warszawa. According to scene guides, it’s reserved exclusively for men on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 pm. The team posts current information on Instagram.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is mostly male, with many regulars from Warsaw, and most reviews describe the company as friendly and sociable. The cocktail selection gets particular praise. Early in the evening it’s about drinks and conversation; later at weekends it becomes a cruising bar.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a bar and cruising under one roof
- like a small scene bar in the centre
- want to be out until 3 am at the weekend
Not ideal if you …
- want to come with female friends after 10 pm at the weekend
- are looking for a dance floor
