What makes La Noche stand out

La Noche is on Lázaro Cárdenas, in the middle of the queer nightlife district of the Zona Romántica. There are three bars on three levels and a stage. Downstairs a DJ plays, and drag queens and go-go boys perform. At the very top is a green roof garden with its own bar and views over the city to the mountains, where men perform pole and aerial acrobatics several times a night.

The bar is known for its long cocktail menu with more than 25 martini variations and mezcal drinks. From 3 to 9 pm there’s 2-for-1 on all three levels. The bar has been up for sale since early 2025, but business continues.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is international, a mix of locals and travellers and mostly gay, with other queer people welcome. Many come for pre-drinks and later move on to the clubs on the street. The friendly staff, the roof garden, the shows and strong cocktails at fair prices get praise.
