What makes Lips San Diego special

At Lips the evening is built around the show: you sit down to eat, and the queens serve between their numbers. The shows are Las Vegas-style and more campy than artistic. The crowd is often made up of celebrating groups, which can get loud. If you’re looking for queer nightlife among yourselves, the bars are a better bet.

There’s a show every night, on Thursdays for example Dining with the Divas with doors at 7 pm. On Sunday there’s the gospel brunch. Bookings go through OpenTable, larger groups book by phone.
