What makes Neighbours special
Neighbours is on Broadway on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s queer neighbourhood. The British spelling of the name points to the club’s Canadian roots. Across two levels there’s a big dance floor, several bars and a balcony from which you can watch the action.
Drag is a fixed part of the programme, and the Sunday Latin party Kandela has a loyal following. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays it goes until 4 am, and it gets full from midnight.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is young and mixed, gay, lesbian, trans and groups of friends. If you want to dance late on Capitol Hill, you’ll find a big dance floor and a long night here.
A good fit if you …
- want to dance until 4 am
- like Latin music on Sunday
- are between 21 and 35
Not ideal if you …
- want to go out on a Monday or Tuesday
- are looking for a quiet bar to talk
