What makes The Lumber Yard Bar special
The Lumber Yard Bar is a neighbourhood bar with wood panelling, forest motifs and a full kitchen. Founded in 2018 by Nathan Adams and Michale Farrar, the original burned down in 2021 after arson; a fundraiser raising around 100,000 dollars made a fresh start possible across the street. Today there’s also the Loading Dock event space. The weeks are well filled with karaoke, Bear Social, brunch and life drawing.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a relaxed bar with food
- want to meet bears and locals
- like karaoke or show tunes
Not ideal if you …
- expect Capitol Hill nightlife
