What makes Planet Bar special

Planet Bar is on Baxter’s Place, between Leith Walk and Picardy Place, a few steps from CC Blooms and The Street. It is one of the long-standing gay bars of the Pink Triangle and a relaxed bar with a DJ every night.

There is a pool table, drag shows and karaoke, which gets particular praise in the reviews.

Atmosphere and crowd

Guests praise the friendly staff, even during the week. The crowd is mixed, mostly between 25 and 50, plus many visitors from other parts of Scotland. At weekends it is open until 3 am.
