What makes Q Club stand out

Q Club is just outside the old town and is considered Bucharest’s most important gay club. Downstairs is for dancing, upstairs there’s a lounge. Resident DJs, theme parties and drag shows alternate, and it’s open Thursday to Saturday.

The drinks menu is on the club’s website, and current parties are announced on Instagram and Facebook. At weekends queues often form outside the door.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is mostly young and queer, lots of locals, joined by tourists at weekends. The atmosphere, DJs and bartenders are praised. It’s busiest on Fridays and Saturdays after midnight.
