What makes Toucans special

Toucans is a little away from Arenas Road on North Palm Canyon Drive in the Uptown Design District. Hawaiian tiki decor, palm fronds and colourful cocktails set the tone. The stage belongs to the drag scene: from Thursday to Monday there’s a show every night, followed by DJs for dancing.

On Saturday there’s also a drag brunch at lunchtime. Booking is recommended for the popular weekend shows and Mayhem Monday. Tipping the queens is customary.

The crowd is very mixed: locals, first-time visitors to Palm Springs, groups of girlfriends and bachelorette parties. Guests praise the drag shows, bartenders and atmosphere.
