What makes Mann-O-Meter special

For almost 40 years Mann-O-Meter has been a point of contact for gay and bisexual men in Berlin, right by Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn station. It offers HIV and STI tests without appointment at fixed testing times, psychological counselling, safer-sex supplies, an online chat on health questions and groups, such as an English-language leisure group for men between 25 and 35 and a self-help group on compulsive sexual behaviour. The anti-violence project MANEO and “Schwule in Haft” also operate under its roof. Many services are free, and the association relies on donations.

Reviews praise the friendly, competent and multilingual staff and quick, discreet tests. Background: the association is taking legal action against the end of public funding for its work with older people in 2026, so some services may change.
