What makes The Purple Parrot special

The Purple Parrot, full name Purple Parrot Grill, Beach Haus & Biergarten, is on Rehoboth Avenue, the resort’s main street. It is a restaurant, bar and stage in one: tiki lights and a dance floor inside, and outside a beer garden, by its own account the only one in Rehoboth, where dogs are welcome.

From Thursday to Saturday there is karaoke from 9 pm, and on Sundays at 9 pm the drag show “The Girls of The Purple Parrot Bird Cage” takes place. At weekends there is brunch from 9 am, and on Sundays and Mondays specials for the NFL games.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is mixed, both locals and holidaymakers, gay, lesbian and straight. The mood is sociable, and the Parrot is known as the place to catch up on the latest gossip.
