What makes Dorothy special
A staircase leads down to a 1970s-style room with upholstered furniture and dim lighting. Dorothy opened in 2020 and has been run continuously by Zoe Schor and Whitney LaMora since July 2022. The evening usually starts quietly with cocktails and gets livelier later. The programme changes almost daily.
Programme
October 2026 included the monthly karaoke night “Sapphic Serenade”, a Halloween drag show, a queer film night on Monday and a dating social for women.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a lesbian or queer meeting place
- like good cocktails in a quiet setting
- are planning a date
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for a dance floor
