Beijing is the capital of China, with the Forbidden City, hutongs and the nightlife district around the Workers’ Stadium. Openly queer venues are rare, and the scene is largely organised through apps and private networks.

The established venue is Destination on Gongti Xilu in Chaoyang, Beijing’s longest-running gay club with several themed rooms. It opens from Thursday to Sunday, until 5am at weekends.
