Torremolinos

Torremolinos is the gay centre of the Costa del Sol. Sunshine almost all year round, a short hop from Málaga airport and a scene concentrated on a single square.

La Nogalera

The heart of the scene is the Nogalera, a square with lots of bars packed side by side. The Eagle Bar is the meeting point for fetish fans, Vanilla Cafe serves breakfast and drag in the evening, Lights Bar has one of the largest terraces in the area, and Miss Dolores performs at Chessa Bar on Saturdays.

When to go?

  • June – Torremolinos Pride: Parade and festivities around the Nogalera.
  • Spring and autumn: Warm, but not too hot.
  • Winter: Mild climate, quieter than in summer.

Our favourites

  • For the daytime: Vanilla Cafe.
  • For the terrace: Lights Bar.
  • For fetish fans: the Eagle Bar.
