Bournemouth

Bournemouth is a seaside resort on the south coast of England with long sandy beaches. The scene centres on the Triangle near the town centre.

The scene

Most of the queer venues are in the Triangle, around five minutes’ walk from the town centre. The Saunabar on Commercial Road is the best-known address for gay and bisexual men.

When to go?

  • July: Bourne Free Pride, 10–12 July 2026 in Meyrick Park with a parade on the Saturday
  • June: Poole Pride in neighbouring Poole, on 6 June in 2026
