Cork

Cork is the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland, with a compact city centre between two channels of the River Lee. The queer scene is small and has reorganised itself after older bars closed.

The scene

Everything is close together in the city centre. Wilde on Oliver Plunkett Street is the only dedicated LGBTQ+ club, and for cocktails and queer nights there’s Nudes on Lavitt’s Quay.

When to go?

  • Thursday to Saturday: the main nights at Wilde
