Cathedral City

Desert city in the Coachella Valley, directly east of Palm Springs. The city is part of the queer scene around Palm Springs and has its own, rather relaxed gay bars.

The scene

The bars are on E Palm Canyon Drive: One Eleven Bar with drag brunch, piano and karaoke, and The Roost Lounge in the Town Center next to the Mary Pickford Theater. Both focus on early-evening shows and lots of regulars.
