Nantes

Nantes lies on the Loire and is known for public art and the Machines de l’Île. The queer scene is small but varied, with a cabaret bar, a sauna, a cruising bar and an active centre.

The scene

Most venues are in the centre between Bouffay and Cours des 50 Otages. Le Montecito offers drag and karaoke, and Le Steamer is the central sauna. L’Autre Quai is a little to the west on Quai de la Fosse, and NOSIG is the point of contact for the community.

When to go?

  • June: Marche des fiertés on 13 June 2026 from Cours Saint-Pierre
  • June: CinéPride festival from 23 to 28 June 2026 at the Katorza cinema
