Portland, Oregon, is a green, laid-back city on the Willamette River with a strong café and bar culture. The queer scene has an alternative feel and ranges from historic drag stages to leather bars and community projects.

The heart of the nightlife is Old Town/Chinatown, where CC Slaughters, Badlands, Stag PDX and the Darcelle XV Showplace are just a few steps apart. The Eagle Portland is in the north on N Lombard St, and the Q Center is on N Mississippi Ave. Other venues such as Escape Bar & Grill are spread across the residential neighbourhoods east of the river.
